Matthew A. Barket, Esq. has nearly 15 years of experience specializing in first party insurance disputes. He first started his career representing nationally recognized insurance companies across the state of Florida. In 2015 he began representing policy holders and has never looked back. Matthew has extensive experience in all aspects of insurance disputes, including claims investigations, breach of contract litigation, declaratory judgment proceedings and bad faith litigation. His proactive and tailored approach to each individual matter has produced a consistent and reliable track record for his clients.
A Miami native and former professional baseball player, Mr. Barket earned a Bachelor of Science in Management degree from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business in 2005. He earned his Juris Doctor Degree from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2009.

Rosendo A. Forns, Esq. is the founder of Rosendo A. Forns, P.A. Mr. Forns has experience and practices in both state and federal court. His civil litigation experience includes but is not limited to commercial litigation, first-party property insurance claims, Fair Labor Standards Act violations, and general civil litigation matters. Mr. Forns started his career representing insurance carriers, focusing his practice in first-party property litigation defense, fraud investigations, bad faith, and insurance coverage. He then shifted his focus towards representing the policyholders and contractors in the same practice areas, as well as commercial litigation, Fair Labor Standards Act violations, and general civil litigation. Mr. Forns has handled thousands of insurance-related claims representing policyholders, businessowners, contractors, both mold & water mitigation companies, and other mitigation services related vendors.
